Jo is recognized as South Korea’s top all rounded fighter, having a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu base mixed with sharp, accurate striking. After building his reputation with amateur fights, Jo made his professional debut in 2008. He was crowned ROAD FC Fly weight champion on his 15th fight, by defeating Min Jong Song by split decision after a historical back and forth battle. He was out of competition for a year due to an injury in 2014, but he is without a doubt one of the highest rated fighters in South Korea.
