November 9th, RIZIN WORLD GRAND-PRIX 2015's special sponsor GYAO INC., official logo, and a new fight card was announced. MMA new comer Asen Yamamoto and his grandfather Ikuei Yamamoto, and Kron Gracie's father Rickson Gracie attended the press conference.
During Bellator 145, King Mo’s entry to the RIZIN FIGHTING WORLD GRAND-PRIX 2015 and Gabi Garcia vs Lei’D Tapa’s matchup was announced.

At 45 years old, he claims that he more than ready to make his comeback stating that he is in the “Best shape of his life.”
On the 24th of October, Wallid Ismail owned JUNGLE FIGHTS 82 was held at the Esporte Clube Sirio in San Paulo Brazil. Sakakibara flew in to watch the 100kg title fight between Bruno Cappelozza and Sandro Da Silva, the fight which will determine who will be participating in the RIZIN FIGHTING WORLD GRAND-PRIX.
On October 22nd, RIZIN FF executive committee Chairman Nobuyuki Sakakibara and General Manager Nobuhiko Takada held a press conference to announce that former Sumo wrestler Kaido Höövelson aka BARUTO will be making his MMA debut during the “RIZIN FIGHTING WORLD GRAND-PRIX 2015 SAITAMA 3 DAYS” event.
Nobuyuki Sakakibara made his appearance on Spike TV during Bellator's "Dynamite1" event and announced that he will be making his comeback on NYE and the return on Fedor.
On September 26th Nobuyuki Sakakibara stepped into the ring during the KOK World Grandprix held in Moldova, and announced that his comeback and the partnership with KOK.
Starting October 16th (Fri) FUJI TV will start a program focused on MMA / Fight related news content. The first episode will feature the press conference of “RIZIN FIGHTING WORLD GRAND-PRIX 2015” and back stage reports.
October 8th 2015, a new movement was made in the world of mixed martial arts. The words “New Year’s Eve, MMA, Resurrection” were shown on the giant screen at Tokyo Midtown - Canopy Square. In front of an eager audience of about 1000, Fedor Emelianenko made his appearance. Followed by Fedor’s “Detekoiya!” call, the legendary promoter who once created the world’s biggest promotion, Nobuyuki Sakakibara arrived on stage.
