What are your thoughts about fighting in RIZIN

I was told that if I win my next fight, (10/17 DEEP 73) there will be a chance for me to fight on New Year’s Eve. I actually got the offer after my win, so I was really excited for this opportunity. I was never given the opportunity to fight in the big show so I am excited to showcase my skills. Currently I am recovering from my previous fight and working on cardio and technique training as usual. I am already focused on my next fight.

Your opponent is confirmed to be Nam Jin Jo. What kind of impression do you have?

He is really aggressive and a tough fighter. But my strong point is also my aggressiveness so I want to fight him in the same field. Of course I am going in there to come out victorious. He thinks that he is the “Number 1 South Korean”, but I also think that I am the best Flyweight fighter in Japan, and have backed it up by beating fighters who used to compete in PRIDE so I am confident.

What do you want the fans to see?

I want them to see my aggressiveness and the speediness of the Flyweight division. I think the fight will be exciting with me constantly moving forward. I want the fans to see me pressing forward and not backing down, and hope that people are inspired and give them a reason to train MMA. I’m going to constantly move forward, and win by knock out, so please keep an eye out for me.
